Seal recently released a statement denying that he and wife, Heidi Klum are headed for divorce. He and Klum recently announced their separation after seven years of marriage.

Seal said in an interview that though he and Klum are separated, they are not legally separated. He went on to say that though they have grown apart they have no intentions of filing for divorce. Seal expressed uncertainty when asked if he and Heidi would eventually reunite.

The couple have four children together.

Kobe Bryant’s soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa is already benefitting from the couple’s split. Vanessa is due to receive three mansions in a settlement.

The homes are valued at over $18 million.

Vanessa is expected to receive at least $75 million in the divorce settlement. That does not take into account child and spousal support, which she is also expected to receive.

Kenny G and his wife, Lyndie Benson-Gorelick arecalling it quits after 20 years of marriage, TMZ reports. Gorelick filed for legal separation, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

It’s unclear if the the couple have a prenup. If not, Gorelick could be entitled to half of the musician’sestimated $48 million fortune.

Under California law Perry could stand to lose around $20 million in her divorce.  California law says assets must be divided evenly during a divorce in the absence of a pre-nuptial agreement.

Mena Suvari filed for divorce Friday after just 18 months of marriage to concert promoter Simone Sestito.

The papers, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, cite “irreconcilable differences,” indicate the pair separated in November 2011 and request no alimony payments for Sestito, TMZ reports.

The “American Horror” actress also wants her old name back — that would be Suvari, rather than Suvari-Sestito.

Suvari, 32, and Sestito, 26, wed at a private church in Vatican City in 2010 after a romance that started at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival. This will be Suvari’s second divorce. The “American Beauty” and her first husband, cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, ended their five-year marriage in 2005.

The Washington City Council is on track to make it easier for same-sex couples who got married in the District of Columbia to get divorced.

D.C. Councilman Phil Mendelson proposed the legislation after hearing reports that same-sex couples who wed in the District were being denied divorces after moving to jurisdictions that don’t recognize same-sex marriages. The District of Columbia began allowing same-sex marriages in 2010. But those marriages are recognized in only a handful of places, meaning divorce proceedings can’t be started in many places that haven’t recognized the marriages in the first place.

“I received a number of reports from couples or attorneys about this impossible situation,” Mendelson told the Washington Examiner.

Mendelson’s bill removes a six-month waiting period during which someone seeking a divorce must reside in the District, provided the marriage occurred in the District in the first place.

Kim Kardashian filed from divorce from Kris Humphries three months ago after only 72 days of marriage. Now Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s new tv show, Kim and Kourtney Take New York, is showing veiwers what led to Kim and Kris’ divorce.

So far veiwers have seen Kris and Kourtney come to blows over Kris’ bad behavior. During this week’s episode Kris left for a weekend trip to Toronto with his friends without even telling him about his plans.

Kris defended his actions by saying that he was just not used to being married yet and that it would take some time to get used to.

Additionally during Kim’s trip to Dubai, Kim said she was apprehensive about returning home. Kim said something felt off with her marriage and that being away had been a relief.

Tate County Judge, Leigh Ann Darby, broke into her home over the holidays to retrieve some of her possessions. Darby and her husband are currently going through a divorce.

Over the last few months the couple has began the process of separating, which included Darby moving out of her home. Over the holidays Darby returned to her home to retrieve some personal possessions.

When Darby attempted to open the door she found that the locks had been changed. Instead of calling her estranged husband, she broke in the back door with a hammer.

Darby’s husband found that the back door bad been broken into and called the authorities. Darby, however, was not arrested because the Sheriff’s department says that since she owns the house, she did nothing wrong.

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, filed  for divorce just before Christmas. A week later, Bryant has moved out and is living in a resort in Southern California.

Bryant has released statements that he did not want to end the marriage. However, he has also stated that he will pay spousal support and accept any of Vanessa’s demands during the divorce.

Bryant has been laying low at the resort and keeping mostly to himself. His attitude as well as his behavior indicate that for now the divorce process will remain civil.
