Kobe Bryant’s soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa is already benefitting from the couple’s split. Vanessa is due to receive three mansions in a settlement.

The homes are valued at over $18 million.

Vanessa is expected to receive at least $75 million in the divorce settlement. That does not take into account child and spousal support, which she is also expected to receive.

Divorce is a stressful situation to find yourself in. So stressful in fact that you may need to being to find ways to keep your sanity intact. Here are 3 things that can help:

3. Throw Things Out: Many things are acquired during a marriage, not all of those things should be held on to. Take an inventory of your possessions and determine which ones you need and which ones you are holding onto out of nostalgia.

Katy Perry and Russel Brand dismissed the celebrity tradition of signing pre-nups in the hopes of have a normal relationship. This need for normalcy is now going to have a major negative effect on Perry’s bank account.

Under California law Perry could stand to lose around $20 million in her divorce.  California law says assets must be divided evenly during a divorce in the absence of a pre-nuptial agreement.

Brand is currently valued at $17 million.

In Touch Weekly has reported that Jada Pinkett Smith has met with divorce lawyer, Laura Wasserstein.

Jada is married to actor and musician,Will Smith. The couple denied rumors in August that their marriage was in trouble. However, since Jada is meeting with Wesser it would seem that Will and Jada are done denying their impending divorce.

Wasser is known for representing celebrity clients such as, Brittney Spears, Kim Kardashian, and Maria Shriver.

Jada has reportedly been putting off filing for divorce, but has decided to finally officially end her marriage. She has even reportedly turned down high profile jobs in order to spend more time with her children during the divorce.

Tate County Judge, Leigh Ann Darby, broke into her home over the holidays to retrieve some of her possessions. Darby and her husband are currently going through a divorce.

Over the last few months the couple has began the process of separating, which included Darby moving out of her home. Over the holidays Darby returned to her home to retrieve some personal possessions.

When Darby attempted to open the door she found that the locks had been changed. Instead of calling her estranged husband, she broke in the back door with a hammer.

Darby’s husband found that the back door bad been broken into and called the authorities. Darby, however, was not arrested because the Sheriff’s department says that since she owns the house, she did nothing wrong.

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, filed  for divorce just before Christmas. A week later, Bryant has moved out and is living in a resort in Southern California.

Bryant has released statements that he did not want to end the marriage. However, he has also stated that he will pay spousal support and accept any of Vanessa’s demands during the divorce.

Bryant has been laying low at the resort and keeping mostly to himself. His attitude as well as his behavior indicate that for now the divorce process will remain civil.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi, infamous for slipping past White House security at a function in 2009, have filed for divorce.

Tareq filed for divorce claiming that Michaele had flaunted her relationship with Journey band member, Mea; Schon, to friends and family. He also claimed that her behavior had caused him severe emotional harm.

Michaele left Tareq to be with Schon. When she did, Tareq claimed she had been kidnapped and even tweeted that he believed she was being held against her will.

When the police contacted Michaele she was with Schon and she assured them that she had gone with him willingly.

Security for Journey tour has been told to keep an eye out for Tareq.

Despite rumors that the couple is intending to divorce, Katy Perry and Russel Brand have told friends that they have no plans to divorce.

Brand and Perry were recently spotted without their wedding rings on and even spent their holiday apart from one another. As recently as today Brand was seen still not wearing his ring.

Though Perry hasn’t been wearing her ring either, sources say that is normal for the performer. She regularly takes her wedding band off during concerts.

Friends of the couple have said that the rumors are false and the couple is not planning to divorce.

Katy Perry and Russel Brand seem to be distancing themselves from each other despite rummer of a rift in the couple’s marriage.

Both Brand and Perry have been seen recently with their wedding rings off.  The couple also spend this Christmas apart. Brand was in London while Perry spent her holiday in Hawaii.

The couple was supposedly going to spend the holiday together in London with family. Since then the two have been seem out partying without their significant other as well as without their wedding bands.

Neither Brand nor Perry has made any comment on the rumors that they have split up.  The couple have been married for a little over a year.

Deion Sanders’ wife, Pilar, found out about her own divorce when her husband announced it on TMZ. Pilar was previously unaware that her husband had intended to file for divorce.

While Pilar’s lawyer says she is “heartbroken”, Pilar is unconvinced that this is really the end of their marriage. Pilar is calling her husband’s choice to file for divorce a “lapse in judgement”.

If this is the end, however, Pilar says she will do everything she can to make sure she and her children are well taken care of.

Despite her willingness to fight Deion on the divorce, Pilar firmly believes he will have a change of heart and return to her and their children.
