Her Camelot dreams were falling apart.

Mary Richardson Kennedy was deep in credit-card debt and getting hammered in divorce court when she hanged herself in a barn on her Westchester estate, friends and documents revealed yesterday.

Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. slapped the mother of his four children with several restraining orders, trying to get full custody of the kids — all while he publicly replaced her with his actress girlfriend, Cheryl Hines.

“He was kicking her while she’s down, all alone in this house that she built,” a close friend said. “In the end, everything was just too much.”

My boyfriend was separated six years ago and has been divorced for three. I did not even know him during this time.

Since we started dating, I have been barred from spending any event with my boyfriend where his children would be present. I have met them only once in the three years I’ve dated their father.

My boyfriend claims my presence would be too upsetting to them.

I have told him repeatedly how much it pains me to be systematically excluded, particularly during holidays. He has, in turn, indicated “his needs are subordinate to those of his children,” and even admitted he is “selfish when it comes to not wanting to share his children with anyone,” including me. An Indian woman is divorcing her husband because he neglected to change his relationship status to married on Facebook, theDeccan Chronicle reported on Tuesday.

Her husband, a 31-year-old businessman, reportedly told the court that updating his status had simply slipped his mind, as the pair wed only two months ago. But his 28-year-old IT professional wife pressed on with the divorce because she “couldn’t trust him”, high court advocate P. Subhash told the paper.

The judge reportedly told the newlyweds to undergo six months of counseling.

We’ve heard of Facebook causing marital strife before, but usually when a spouse has used the social networking site to reconnect with an old flame. Eighty-one percent of lawyers surveyed by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in February 2010 said they’d seen an overwhelming increase in the number of divorce cases that used evidence gleaned from social networking sites like Facebook.

John Cena‘s wife REFUSES to let the wrestler file for divorce — at least the way he’s doing it now — and to prove she means business, she’s asking a judge to throw out the WWE legend’s divorce papers.

Elizabeth Cena just filed legal docs in Florida, claiming John’s recent divorce petitionis riddled with errors … and should be dismissed.

According to Elizabeth, John inaccurately refers to her by her maiden name (Huberdeau) instead of her legal name (Cena). As a result, Elizabeth says John fails to bring “a proper dissolution of marriage action” against her.

Elizabeth also claims John failed to attach the prenup he references in his initial divorce filing — a copy of which MUST be attached in order for the filing to be valid.

Elizabeth also takes issues with John’s claim that there’s no marital property — Elizabeth insists there is … and she wants her share.

For all these reasons, Elizabeth wants a judge to dismiss John’s petition and force him to re-file … if he dares.

Russell Brand appeared on Ellen DeGeneres‘ daytime talk show this morning, and in between promoting his new movie Rock Of Ages and making Ellen squirm by commenting on current events like thebreastfeeding TIME cover, the comedian spoke fondly of his ex-wife,Katy Perry.

“I love her as a human being, but sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything… I was very happy to be married to her, she’s such a beautiful human being, and I only have love and positivity for her.”

Nice to see Russell remaining a gent after such a public breakup. Making us love him even more was his bonding session with Ellen’s co-hosts (basically, at this point) Sophia Grace and Rosie, who hail from the same town as Brand. Watch the three Brits have a ball in the clip below!

“Oh, my little Essex friends! We all escaped!” exclaimed Russell, to the girls’ delight.

LOS ANGELES — Newlyweds and couples moving toward marriage, take note. Love, as it turns out, is not all you need.

Not if your goal is to avoid the No. 1 reason marriages end in divorce: Money problems.

Everyone knows, or should know, this. But love and a reluctance to take a hard look at our own financial habits, often keep us from seeing, much less confronting, potential financial troubles in a relationship.

Failing to do so, however, can lead to serious post-wedding day troubles.

“Mature, responsible conversations about money are a sign of a marriage that’s going to be healthy and wonderful and enduring,” says Brooke Salvini, a certified financial planner based in San Louis Obispo, Calif. “If you can’t talk about money when you are dating, that is a red flag right there.”

Today Hollywood marriages often imply a whirlwind romance, lavish wedding ceremony, and quickie divorce. (Kim Kardashian, anyone?)

Actor/comedian Robin Williams once said, “Ah yes, divorce … from the Latin word meaning to rip out a man’s genitals through his wallet.” Williams’ two high-profile divorces cost him over $20 million, causing him to be quite the cynic about divorce proceedings.

As we saw with Heidi Klum and Seal’s separation, a once amicable separation can quickly turn into a vicious and prolonged battle at the mere mention of money. It is reported that Seal is now after half of Heidi’s hard earned $70 million fortune.
