Although we are living through strange and unprecedented times, we are heartened by how people are coming together to weather this storm.

First and foremost, our thoughts are with those who are personally affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as with our first responders.  Obviously, we are all affected by this pandemic in varying degrees.  We hope that all of you, and your families, friends and loved ones are safe and healthy and are taking the steps to try to “flatten the curve” such as social distancing, washing your hands frequently, and staying home as much as possible.

While Governor Cuomo and the Chief Judge Janet DiFiore have ordered that the New York courts close to all “non-essential” services, which include divorce, we remain open and working on matrimonial, custody and divorce matters.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
Mr. Rogers

During these scary and uncertain times. we at David Centeno Law strive to be one of the “helpers” that Mr. Rogers so poignantly references above.

We are working remotely and are able to offer free telephone consultations.  We are able to conduct telephone meetings with out clients and are still drafting divorce paperwork, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements and custody agreements.  We know how important your legal situations are and stand ready to assist in any way we can.

We are keeping our finger on the pulse of how this situation unfolds and are adjusting accordingly.
