Surprising Truth About Attractiveness and Divorce

Psychologists today have been trying to explain a recent correlation between higher levels of testosterone and higher rates of divorce.  After Rep. Anthony Weiner’s scandal became widely known to the public, it was only natural for people to re-evaluate factors that drive people to cheat.

 A study involving 82 married couples suggested that both partners remained satisfied when a man was married to a more attractive woman. Psychologist Cooper Lawrence explains “the women know that whatever goes wrong in the marriage, the husband is going to do whatever is necessary to keep it together.”

 Sound a bit superficial? Absolutely. However, with women obtaining more and more powerful positions in today’s society, it’s inevitable they will be looking for “more masculine, fit, educated and wealthy men.”
