New York Braces for Flurry of Same-Sex Weddings, and Eventually Divorces
Beginning July 24th, New York’s gay couples started pushing the glamour factors as they raced to the altar to finally legally wed. Ceremonies are “booked from the Four Seasons to Gracie Mansion, where the mayor himself will officiate at the wedding of two aides.” In 2004, Massachusetts set the way for this trend’s latest economic and social impact.
