Sex and The City Creator Candace Bushnell Files For Divorce

The writer behind Sex And The City is to divorce her husband of nine years.

53-year-old Candace Bushnell  married ballet dancer Charles Askegard, who is ten years younger than her, in 2002.

The creator of the character Carrie Bradshaw, a New York writer who became an icon for a generation of single woman, filed papers on Friday.
