Divorce ‘really, really sad’ says Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez admits splitting with husband Marc Anthony has been “really, really sad”.

The former couple – who have four-year-old twins Max and Emme – called time on their seven-year marriage last year but have remained friends ever since.

Now dating 24-year-old dancer Casper Smart, Jennifer admits the decision to divorce is still a painful one.

She said: “Without going into detail … it’s just really, really sad.

“And look, we are still going through it, and it’s emotional sometimes and difficult. We’re still friends – and we’re parents. But it’s going to take time. It’s tough.

“But for the most part, I feel very proud of the way we’re handling it. I really do. We are doing the best we can for the kids.”

The estranged pair recently appeared side-by-side to promote their reality show Q’Viva! The Chosen on The Ellen DeGeneres Show – a move which Jennifer says is the result of mature thinking on both parts.
