Martin Lawrence & Wife Shamicka to Divorce

Sadly, another celebrity marriage has reached its end. People magazine reports that actor Martin Lawrence and his wife Shamicka Lawrence have decided to call it quits. “”Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce,”” Lawrence’s rep said in a statement. “”The couple has made the joint decision to part ways.””

The Big Momma’s House star and his wife were together for 15 years before finally tying the knot in 2010 at their home in Beverly Hills. And while the actual cause for the split remains unknown, the duo still have every intention on remaining friends.

“”Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together,”” the pair said in a joint statement.
