‘Aftermath’ Divorce Memoir by Rachel Cusk

Rachel Cusk is a British Novelist and winner of the Whitbread First Novel award.

Cusk, a mother of two, wrote a book, “A Life’s Work: On Becoming a Mother.” Literary reviewers liked her work.

Later she was divorced which led her to write “After­math: On Marriage and Separation.”

Most of the details for her divorce aren’t mentioned in “Aftermath” as readers often are left wondering what the real divorce story was after reading the book.
