Census Reveals More and More Couples Choosing to Delay Marriage

Marriage trends and statistics taken recently show marriage on the decline.

While divorce rates have leveled off in recent years, actual marriage rates have fallen.

48% of households are occupied by married couples, while 25% percent of households are sole occupants.

The trend is showing couples are working towards co-habitation, rather than getting married.

Marriage is looked upon with respect, even though fewer people are interested. Females are now focusing on careers more and more instead of finding husbands.
