Allowing someone back in your life can be a very important decision, especially if the reasons for parting involve a dark spot on their personality like addiction. Addiction is hard for anybody to shake off or even come to terms with, but gambling can be a harsh addiction that not only hurts them but can destroy entire financial lives. Sometimes, it is all right to consider your selfish long-term goals before feeling for your lost love. Love cannot pay off debt but neither can money buy love.
