In this bad economy, everyone is struggling to keep their heads above the waterline from drowning in poverty, but divorced and separated fathers in Europe are having difficulty keeping their finances in order while supporting their children. The brunt of the financial burden to maintain the offspring of the family usually ends up in the father’s wallet compounding a difficult recovery from the recession with the hardships of a broken family. Some of these struggling fathers are found on Italian streets, homeless, discouraged and even a little embarrassed.
