Christie Brinkley brought to tears while discussing divorce on ‘Today’

Christie Brinkley appeared on the “Today” show Tuesday to discuss her starring turn in the musical “Chicago.” But the model was brought to tears, as the conversation was dominated bytalk of her ugly divorce from architect Peter Cook.

Brinkley said she and her ex-husband agreed not to speak publicly about the divorce, which was finalized in 2008, but Cook did not honor this agreement.“I have turned the other cheek,” Brinkley said. “There’s not one quote from me, anywhere. This is the first time I’ve ever been on a show” to discuss the divorce.
