Divorce: Don’t Expect Privacy
Most of us live very private lives outside of the public stratosphere. We go about our daily business without worrying about our most private and intimate details ever being sprawled everywhere. When it come’s to divorce however, these assumptions must go out the window.
The first reason is the proper split of equity. That private account you had in the Caymans? If your ex-spouse to be has a good lawyer chances are it will come up especially if you pay taxes on it.
Also certain private health details may arise as well. If you went through some kind of drug rehabilitation that only you and your spouse know about or if you have some minor mental ailment these details can in fact drastically affect your chances at gaining custody.
These are just a couple of the potential private details that can be thrown out in court.
