Ex From Totterville Looks to Settle Old Score

Frances Ragusa, 75, is battling her 77 year old ex-husband Philip Ragusa over her claim of nearly $100,000 in unpaid child support. This divorce battle has been ongoing for 34 years and has finally wound up in court. They divorced in the winter of 1977 and the agreement included child support payments of $14,393.57. Frances claims her ex left her and the kids to fend for themselves. She began to pursue the child support again in 1987, when their former Brooklyn home was sold and she never received her portion of the proceeds. She says she has since filed several lawsuits and appeals and found in 2002 her child support judgment was still enforceable.
