In Divorce Deal, Frank McCourt Gets Dodgers

After a nasty battle, Frank and Jaime McCourt has come to an agreement over control of the Dodgers. Frank will receive the Dodgers and it is estimated that Jaime will receive $130 million. This divorce battle began 2 years ago when Frank fired Jaime as the Dodger’s CEO.

As a part of the settlement, Jaime must support Frank in his attempt to sell the media rights of the Dodgers. Frank must enter bankrupt court against Major League baseball, which is attempting to get him to sell the team. The sale would help to alleviate some of his financial troubles.

A Los Angeles judge must still sign off on the agreement.
