Jennie Garth Talks Peter Facinelli Divorce Again

Just after it was announced that Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth were splitting up, she opened up about their decision to divorce. She revealed that it was a hard decision and that Peter had actually asked for a divorce last year. She said that it took her extra time to come to terms with the decision to split.

In a new interview, she’s opening up once more about the divorce. She said, “I know how hard it is. I’ve said many times to myself, ‘I can’t imagine that happening to me.’ It was the unimaginable to me. But guess what, it happened and I got through it.”

She went on to say, “As I turn 40, I want to share my life with other women. I’ve gradually been making my way to this point in my life. I want to share my voice. You can feel really bad about yourself when you’re going through a divorce. You can feel like a failure. And that’s not a good feeling. [By sharing my story] maybe it’ll help someone. I’ve gone through this and so can you.”
