John Cleese: “Aliens, If You’re Out There, Please Abduct My Ex-Wife”

After a divorce, many couples choose to get on with their lives and never speak with their Ex again. Some wish that their Ex would move far away and others may try and remain civil. For one person, his wish is to have his Ex-wife abducted by aliens. Yes, alien abduction is what John Cleese is hoping for.

Cleese has already paid out 12.3 million pounds as well as putting his ex wife’s son’s through college. John Cleese is no stranger to divorce, as this was his third. This is the first time however, that he wished for little green men to whisk away his Ex.

In a recent article from The Times of India, Cleese is reported as saying ” I’ve been trying to contact aliens, but so far I haven’t had any success.”

A great way to lighten the mood about the stress that divorce often causes. While far fetched, the idea that alien abduction could be a reality is something that helps Cleese to sleep at night.
