Katy Perry: ‘I Did Everything I Could, But It Still Failed’

While her new film, Katy Perry: Part Of Me, is supposed to be a concert documentary, the filming happened to catch a particularly sad period of Katy Perry’s life: the last days of her failing 14-month marriage to Russell Brand.

According to Us Weekly, prior to the split, Katy had told her management team that the longest she would go without seeing Russell was two weeks. This meant the she would often fly to wherever he was working to spend just three or four days with him.

At one point in the film, the 27-year-old pop star learned she would be going 18 days without seeing Russell, leading an exasperated Katy to ask, “Where are my relationship days?” as she looked over her jammed schedule.
