Katy Perry is Consoled by Best Friend, Rihanna

Katy Perry is relying heavily on her best friend, Rihanna, to get through her divorce with Russel Brand. Brand announced that he and Perry were divorcing last week.

Perry reportedly called Rihanna immediately after Brand filed for divorce. Sources say Perry feels more comfortable confiding in Rihanna about the divorce than her family members.

Perry comes from a very conservative Christian background. Her parents religious beliefs make talking to them about the divorce very difficult.

Rihanna has been very supportive, going so far as to invite Perry to stay with her and her family in Barbados during the divorce.
