Mel Gibson’s Divorce Finalized

Mel Gibson’s divorce with now ex-wife Robyn was finalized last Friday night. The couple was married  in 1980 and have 7 children together.

They were married for 31 years, though they have been separated since 2006. The couple initially separated after a drunk-driving incident in which Mel Gibson directed several anti-Semitic comments at police.Robyn Gibson filed for divorce in 2009 when she learned that Mel Gibson had a child with his then girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

Mel Gibson and Grigorieva now have a two year old daughter together. Mel Gibson is currently on probation for an battery charge that resulted from an incident with Grigorieva.

The terms of the divorce have not yet been made public.
