Russell Brand back in LA for divorce showdown with Katy Perry

The warring couple were believed to be holed up in a Los Angeles hotel to thrash out the details of their divorce after insiders claimed the singer was preparing to beg the British star to come back to her. Brand certainly didn’t look like he was ready to meake a U-turn on his divorce plans, after photos of his new £1.2million bachelor pad emerged.

The 36-year-old headed into his meeting with his ex-wife all smiles, confident in shades and a beanie at LAX airport.

He was believed to be marching off to meet the 27-year-old singer at a hotel to sort out their £39million divorce battle.

However, sources claimed Perry wasn’t ready to throw in the towel and hand over her millions just yet.

‘Katy wants a reconciliation,’ a source said. ‘She has told Russell she’s willing to do anything to make the marriage work.’
