Top 10 Nastiest Celebrity Divorces

Divorce is never an easy thing and of course from time to time it may get a bit ugly.  From the drawn out fights to the name calling to the throwing of the expensive china at each other, there is no doubt it can get heated. Imagine though when you add a large sum of money, expensive houses, and being in the public eye, how messy things can really get. We hear about it all the time, and we are drawn to the messiest and ugliest divorces of the celebrities. A recent article on AbcNews.com talks about the top 10 nastiest celebrity divorce to date. Number one on the list? Not much of a surprise here:

1. Jon Gosselin vs. Kate Gosselin

Just when it seemed the couple made famous (then infamous) by TLC’s  Jon & Kate Plus 8 couldn’t spiral downward any further, Jon accused Kate last week of putting her dancing ambitions before their eight children and said he’s going to court to ask for primary physical custody.

His lawyer Anthony F. List called Kate “an absentee mom” and cited “Dancing With the Stars” as evidence that she’s not spending “quality time with the eight kids.”
