3 Expensive Celebrity Divorces

Celebrity divorces have a reputation of causing huge hits to the bank accounts of those involved. Here are three celebrity divorces that cost stars quite a pretty penny:

1. Kobe and Vanessa Bryant: Vanessa filed for divorce citing Kobe’s infidelity as the reason. Since there was no prenuptial agreement, Vanessa could stand to gain upwards of $150 million in the divorce in addition to alimony. 

2. Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren: After several woman alleged that they had affairs with Woods, Nordegren filed for divorce. She came away with $100 million of Wood’s $600 million fortune. 

3. Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy: Jordan and Vanoy were married in 1989 and divorced in 2006. Over the course of their marriage Jordan became an international super star, both on and off the court, and made hundreds of millions of dollars. When the marriage ended Vanoy was awarded $168 million.
