Ashlee Simpson Seeks For Sole Custody

Last March, musician Ashlee Simpson filed for divorce for her soon to be ex-spouse, Pete Wentz in Los Angeles Superior Court. Her filing indicated that she was “seeking for sole custody [of their child], with visitation rights for Wentz. Legal experts still report “it is too early to say if the couple are truly headed for a custody battle.” Wentz tells PEOPLE, “It’s a very straightforward response asking for joint custody and fair distribution of attorney’s fees. [I’m] not gearing up for a custody battle.”
