Brand, Perry Divorce Finalized
Well it’s finally done. Singer Katy Perry, and Comedian Russell Brand have finalized their divorce.
Perry, 27, and Brand, 37, married on Oct. 23, 2010 in a traditional Indian ceremony. The British comic surprised the “Wide Awake” singer by filing for divorce on Dec. 30 after 14 months of marriage.
All reports indicate that they broke up due to a disagreement over whether or not to start a family. Brand wanted o while Perry thought she was too young.
In May, Brand told Ellen DeGeneres, “I still love her as a human being. But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything.”
