Katie Holmes on Divorce: “I’m All Right”

Even though she’s divorcing Tom Cruise, life goes on for Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri. On Wednesday morning, Holmes, 33, took 6-year-old Suri to Whole Foods in New York City, where she spoke briefly to a NY Daily News reporter.

“I’m all right. Thank you,” Holmes told the newspaper as she pushed Suri in a shopping cart.

While at the store, Katie stocked up on Fourth of July provisions like strawberries and hamburger meat, and also grabbed a new sun hat (which she snapped a photo of Suri modeling).

The previous evening, Katie and Suri were photographed going out for ice cream in N.Y.C.’s East Village, smiling and laughing together (see photo above).
