Sandra Bullock and Jesse James: Adultery, Divorce and Pre-Nuptial Agreement
The New York Times recently released an op-ed articles discussing Sandra Bullock’s divorce from Jesse James. The author used Sandra Bullock’s divorce from her adulterous husband and her recent Academy Award for Best Actress to pose a philosophical question about happiness. I personally thought the article was in bad taste.
Sandra Bullock is obviously going through a very challenging personal time and she is very emotionally vulnerable. Catching your husband cheating on you is an extremely painful shock.
More recent news reports recount Jesse James fleeing a sex addiction rehab center, Sierra Tuscon, after Bullock refused his phone call. Allegedly he wants to save the marriage, but Bullock has decided to call it quits.
Luckily Sandra Bullock had a pre-nuptial agreement that protected her assets in case of divorce.

Right from the headlines of celebrity gossips once again we have a case in point why prenups are such a valuable legal instrument. I bet you have had clients ringing your phone off the hook to get one prepared and asking, “Can I get a prenup as iron clad as Sandra Bullock’s?” No doubt you can oblige!

I could never understand why women fall for everything except a real man.
People are people, whether you are famous or not doesn’t change the basic story of love or hate. That’s why we need lawyers when we got ourselves into trouble.

Can’t blame her for wanting to call things quits with him. Besides, she’s still good looking and can still find somebody better. And good thing she was smart and had a prenup in place.
A Hollywood prenuptial agreement might, as well, have an increase in payout to a spouse if the other spouse commits adultery. These terms seem to fly in the face of the “until death do we part,” bit of the marriage ceremony. However, given the short lifespan of some celebrity marriages, a prenuptial agreement seems to make good economic sense.

Celebs can never seem to stay together!
I don’t know why a divorce is such a big deal. Especially celebrity divorces. I mean millions of people are doing that but nobody cares about them…
I don’t know why a husband and wife can’t live together and need a Lawyer for divorce.
