The Resilient Mark-Paul Gosselaar

Less than three months after divorcing his wife of 14 years, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, better known as Zack from “Saved by the Bell” or Bash from “Franklin & Bash,” has proposed to advertising executive, Catriona McGinn.

According to his representative, Gosselaar proposed with a 5-carat diamond in hopes of giving McGinn her dream ring.

All immunity to sparkles and shine aside, the higher the number of carats, the dreamier anything will be.

The actor announced his separation from former wife, Lisa Ann Russell, early June 2010 and filed for divorce soon after. It wasn’t until May 27, 2011 though that a judge granted them an official separation after agreements over the custody of their two children have been met.
