Bills easing divorce process for domestic violence victims introduced to lawmakers

A new bill introduced by Sen. Colleen Lachowicz in Maine is hoping to make it much easier for domestic violence victims to be granted divorce rights. Dubbed an Act to Relax Divorce Requirements for Victims of Domestic Violence,  Lachowicz  presented the bills on Thursday to the Legislature’s Judiciary Committee.
