Religious Parents’ Divorce May Cause Children to Leave the Church

A recent study, published Tuesday in the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, found that for children who had two religious parents that ended up in a divorce, a return to church was much lest likely. In fact the study found that these children were likely to leave the religion all together. If your family is heavily religious and going through a divorce, you may want to spend some extra time talking to your children about this situation.
