Illinois Murder Trial Tests Leeway for Hearsay Evidence

A man that has disappeared three years ago is being charged for the murder of his wife. His wife had allegedly drowned in a bathtub in 2004.

Statements recently made have pushed the trial into the courts. As both people tried and the victim are dead or missing, the trial seems pretty improbable.
