Sister Margaret Farley Denounced by Vatican for New Book

The book “Just Love: A Framework for Christian Sexual Ethics,” written by Sister Margaret A. Farley, was negated by the Vatican.

The book deals with contemporary interpretations of justice and fairness in human sexual relations, same-sex relationships, masturbation and remarriage after divorce.  

The Vatican claims her book is not consistent with authentic Catholic theology and urge that Roman Catholics should not read this book.

Sister Farley belongs to Sisters of Mercy of the Americas and was a past president of the Catholic Theological Society of America.
